Operating Privileges: The Miriam Hospital

Rebecca Spoehr earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Arcadia University, following her undergraduate education at Lock Haven University in Health Sciences. Rebecca has spent much of her career in emergency medicine and urgent care, including extensive experience with fracture care, wound repair, and other orthopedic injuries. The enjoyment she found in caring for these types of problems in the emergency department led to her transition to orthopedics, with a focus on hand and upper extremity care.

When she’s not working with patients, Rebecca enjoys travel, staying active with hiking, running, swimming, and kayaking, and spending time with family, friends, and her shih tzu-poodle mix.
