Jeremy Fields joined the Ortho Rhode Island team in 2018 to follow his passion for physical therapy and sports medicine. Jeremy received his Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from Endicott College in 2006. After graduation, Jeremy worked as an assistant athletic trainer for the United States Coast Guard Academy, as well as several high schools throughout southeastern Connecticut. After ten years as an athletic trainer, Jeremy returned to school to achieve a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Kent State University in 2015.
Jeremy enjoys educating his patients on the prevention, treatment, and prognosis of conditions to make physical therapy more of a team approach. He always strives to learn new treatment techniques including Graston Technique, positional release, and kinesiotape. Jeremy has a Level 2 Medical certification through the Titleist Performance Institute. This certification allows Jeremy to analyze body mechanics and prescribe exercises to decrease pain experienced with golf. Jeremy has a growing passion for the treatment of complex musculoskeletal disorders, chronic ailments, as well as pre- and post-surgical patients.
Jeremy grew up as a three-sport athlete and went on to play Division III football for Endicott. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as staying active.
