  • Office Location(s): Warwick Campus | Providence |
  • Specialties: Joint Surgery, Knee Replacement, Hip Replacement
  • Operating Privileges: Kent Hospital, Miriam Hospital, Southern New England Surgical Center

A fellowship-trained orthopedic total joint surgeon, Dr. Llado focuses his practice on management of general orthopedic conditions and fractures, reconstruction of fractures around prosthetic hip and knee implants, and hip and knee replacement surgery, including robotic-assisted procedures. He has received advanced training in the less invasive direct anterior total hip replacement, a muscle-sparing technique that potentially allows for earlier recovery.

His approach to patient care is to first listen to the needs and goals of each patient, and to provide individualized orthopedic care. He exhausts conservative treatment options before considering surgical intervention, and believes that open discussions about diagnosis, treatment options, and realistic expectations are essential for optimal outcomes.
