Makayla joined our team in the summer of 2015. She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Keene State College. Makayla was assigned to a variety of college level sports while at Keene State, as well as time spent at Brattleboro High School in Vermont and Northfield Mount Hermon Academy in Massachusetts. As a summer internship, Makayla spent a season working alongside the WNBA Connecticut Sun basketball team. She will also be collaborating alongside colleagues to assist in the Transitional Anterior Cruciate Ligament (TACL) program, which includes 16 weeks of progressive extension of a traditional rehabilitation program that follows knee ligament reconstructive surgery. Sports have always been a huge part of her life. Makayla grew up in Charlestown, RI and graduated from Chariho High School where she participated in volleyball, basketball and softball.
