With the winter holidays fast approaching and time running out to get the perfect gift, why not treat your special someone with a gift that can really help them start the new year off right. We compiled a list of holiday gifts with running in the winter in mind!

Winter Runner gifts
Running Mitts: Keep your hands warm with running mitts made of wool or polyester. These materials will trap heat even when wet.
Hi-visibility Vest: Be safe and be seen on dark winter days and nights with a hi-visibility vest. The Noxgear vest is a great option.
New Running Shoes: The Hoka Clifton 9s in Gore-Tex are a great option for winter running. They are waterproof and will keep your feet dry.
Over the counter orthotics: Orthotics can help to support your feet and prevent injuries. We recommend the Superfeet or Spenco brands.
Merino Wool Socks: Merino wool socks are a great choice for cold weather running. They are warm, breathable, and moisture-wicking.  Avoid cotton socks, as they are not warm when wet.

Self-care gifts
Lacrosse ball: A lacrosse ball is a simple and effective massage tool. It can be used to massage sore hips, shoulders, and other muscle groups.
Foot massage roller: A foot massage roller can help to relieve sore feet.
• Foam roller: A foam roller is a great tool for massaging sore muscles. We recommend a 12-inch roller for legs and an 18-inch roller for the spine.
Massage stick: A massage stick is another great option for massaging sore muscles. It can be used while sitting in a chair.
Stretch strap: A stretch strap can help you to improve your flexibility. It is a great tool for runners who want to prevent injuries.
Massage gun: A massage gun is a high-tech tool that can provide a deep tissue massage.

Fitness gifts
Fitness tracker: A fitness tracker can help you to track your progress and stay motivated. The Fitbit Charge 3 is a great option.
Strava Run, Ride, Swim app: Strava is a great app for tracking workouts and connecting with other runners.
Heart rate monitor: A heart rate monitor can help you to train more effectively. It is a great tool for interval training.
• Smart Watch: A smartwatch can track your mileage, heart rate, and other metrics.

I hope this helps!
