The RIIL announced today a three-year partnership agreement with Ortho RI that will result in world-class sports medicine advice and clinical care expertise. The partnership will also create a collaborative community relations outreach programs through Athletic Trainers in Rhode Island high schools and pre-participation physicals.
As the Official Orthopedic Partner, Ortho RI will be the Presenting Sponsor for Boys & Girls Soccer, Football, Boys & Girls Hockey, Boys & Girls Lacrosse, Fast Pitch Softball and Baseball. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Ortho RI is regarded as a top practice offering comprehensive musculoskeletal care, with seven hospital affiliations, 17 community locations, and more than 55 orthopedic specialists, offering more than eight sub-specialty services and centers.

Ortho RI also offers preventive measures and thorough pre-participation physicals aimed at identifying areas of potential weakness and suggestions for improvement to maximize the physicality needed to compete.
Ortho RI is already currently supporting several of our member schools with on-site Athletic Trainers (Central Falls, Chariho Regional, Davies, Johnston, North Kingstown, North Providence, The Prout School, South Kingstown, Tolman and Westerly.).
