He offers extensive treatment options including physical therapy, medications, nerve blocks, spinal injections, radiofrequency ablation, kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulation, and surgical options when appropriate.
Dr. El-Khatib takes a whole-person approach, focusing not only on reducing pain but improving quality-of-life goals such as increasing physical activity, improving sleep, and helping patients return to the activities they love. His care includes reviewing medical and pain history, completing a physical exam, and ordering or evaluating diagnostic studies. After diagnosing the source of pain, he works collaboratively with patients to create an optimal treatment plan.
