MAHER EL-KHATIB, MD

Dr. Maher El-Khatib is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. With over 20 years of experience in treating a wide range of conditions, Dr. El-Khatib provides pain management services for any and all types of pain, including headaches, back pain, extremity pain, cancer-related pain, and pain after surgery. He offers extensive treatment options such as physical therapy, medications, nerve blocks, injections, radiofrequency ablation, kyphoplasty, spinal cord stimulators, and surgery.

Dr. El-Khatib takes a holistic approach to treatment, with the goal of not just reducing his patients’ pain, but also helping them meet their quality-of-life goals, like increased physical activity, improved sleep, and enjoying life more! Dr. El-Khatib’s care includes obtaining patients’ general medical history and the history specific to their pain, as well as performing a physical examination. He may also order or review lab tests or diagnostic studies. After working with his patients to diagnose their pain problems, he will discuss the optimal approach to managing their pain.

In his free time, Dr. El-Khatib enjoys movies, basketball, tennis, and spending time with his wife and four children.
