Best of Luck

I would like to take the opportunity to say good luck to a friend, colleague and business partner Dr. Philippe Cote.
Dr. Cote, who also goes by the name of Phillippe, Philco, PC and many more, embodies the spirit of a man who is as gregarious, kind, and compassionate as his stature is large.  I have had the fortune of meeting and working with Dr. Cote since 1994. We practiced in a corporate environment for approximately six years only to become unemployed by the faceless swipe of a keyboard.
We have been through many memorable times together both hilarious and sad. Together we have experienced births and deaths of colleagues and family. We have been challenged, elated and humbled by fatherhood. Together we have solved the world’s problems thousands of times not necessarily agreeing on the same strategies.
We have commuted together, shared food and drink, and I have been the ear to his endless stream of jokes and good stories!  We have shared many laughs attempting to splinter the ever elusive orange target.  I have had the opportunity to assist him in thousands of operative orthopedic cases where he garnered the respect and admiration of his peers and hospital staff. It was well known that the best operative suite for the day was Dr. Cote’s operating room!
Dr. Cote has provided our medical practice with personality and stability. He carefully has parted wisdom to his younger colleagues about the science of life. He has instructed medical students and residents in a manner that encouraged them to return.
As he reduces his clinical practice to less than full time, he wishes his patients goodbye and most respond with a hug, handshake, or tears, but always a thank you and well wishes!!!
Phil I hope that your future adventures in life are as bold and rewarding as your previous.
“It’s time to start the operation” and move on to new horizons!
Best of Luck Phil!

Dr. Cote will continue to work with Foundry Orthopedics, a division of Ortho R.I, ,in a less than full time clinical capacity along with other nonclinical applications.
