DELANEY BAMFORD, PA-C

Delaney Bamford, PA-C, earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Bonaventure University and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Delaney specializes in generalized urgent orthopedic care and sees patients at Ortho Rhode Island’s Providence and Warwick offices. She provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of acute musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions, helping patients receive timely care and return safely to their daily activities.

Delaney’s passion for orthopedics began early in her career while working as a medical assistant with Ortho Rhode Island’s Hand and Upper Extremity team. She later completed a clinical rotation at ORI during PA school, further strengthening her interest in orthopedic medicine and team-based patient care. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she also worked as an EMT and gained valuable experience practicing in the emergency room setting before returning to ORI.

Outside of her practice, Delaney enjoys sailing, spending time on the water, paddleboarding, snowboarding, playing with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
