Joanna Lanz has earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder, an associate degree in nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island, a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Rhode Island, and a master of science in nursing from Catholic University of America.

Joanna’s specialties include joint replacement, assisting surgery in the operating room, and providing joint injections. Prior to her work in orthopedics, Her nursing experience also includes work in cardiology and emergency medicine.

Outside of her work with patients, Joanna enjoys yoga, skiing, surfing, and spending time with her daughter and her German shepherd.
