Casey Ashby, OTR/L, CHT, is a dedicated occupational therapist and certified hand therapist with over nine years of experience specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. She graduated from Alvernia University in 2016 with her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and went on to earn her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 2019. She has also pursued additional specialized training in dry needling, kinesiology taping, custom orthotic fabrication, manual therapy techniques, and evidence-based treatment approaches for complex conservative and post-operative hand injuries.

Casey brings her passion for empowering patients to restore function and independence after injury or surgery. She thrives on building strong therapeutic relationships and developing customized treatment plans that fit each patient’s unique lifestyle and goals. Casey is motivated by seeing her patients return to the activities that matter most to them, whether it’s work, sports, or meaningful daily tasks. Her practical problem-solving skills and patient-centered care have helped her successfully help to rehabilitate patients with complex upper extremity injures.

Outside of work, Casey enjoys learning about exercise science and nutrition to better support her patients and her own healthy lifestyle. She stays active with daily walks and fitness and loves spending quality time with her husband and staying connected with family and friends. In her downtime, she enjoys relaxing with a good video game, reading, hiking, and going to the beach.

Casey believes that “Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t,” and she feels privileged to be part of each patient’s journey toward recovery.
