David Ornstein is a physical therapist at Ortho Rhode Island who specializes in sports, orthopedics, manual therapy, and strength and conditioning. With nearly a decade of experience, David helps patients return to peak performance and live healthier lives through a multimodal approach that integrates physical therapy interventions with evidence-based strength and conditioning principles.
David earned both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont. He completed an Orthopedic Residency through Evidence in Motion and holds multiple advanced certifications, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), Certified Sport and Orthopedic Manual Therapist (Institute of Athletic Regeneration), and Dry Needling Certification.

Outside of the clinic, David enjoys exercise, CrossFit, skiing, exploring local breweries, and spending time with his dogs and family.
