Dr. Mark Coppes, a retired Ortho Rhode Island surgeon, has found a new way to help people struggling with back pain. After being forced into early retirement by a back condition of his own, Dr. Coppes created the Aquatic Spinal Wellness Program at the South County YMCA, with the help of Ortho Rhode Island. Now he’s hoping the program can grow throughout the state.
