CHRIS COTE PA-C, ATC

Chris Cote brings a background in athletic training and sports medicine to Ortho Rhode Island. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Sacred Heart University, followed by a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Tufts University School of Medicine. While at Sacred Heart, he received the Gold Medal of Excellence in Athletic Training, an honor awarded by graduating class to the top performing student in each major.

Chris focuses his care on functional rehabilitation. His is fascinated by how the body works, and how simple corrective exercises and posture can help diminish or even eliminate long standing pain or injury. From 2018 to 2020, he served as an athletic trainer at Bryant University, mainly working with athletes in track and field, football, and women’s volleyball. His roles in this position included injury diagnosis and prevention, emergency care, and the creation of rehabilitation protocols, treatments, and modalities.

When he’s not caring for patients, Chris enjoys outdoor activities, golf, spending time with family, and watching Boston sports – especially football. He also enjoys covering sporting events with his ATC license.
